New song about holding fast to God’s supremacy

Yeng Constantino returns to the music scene with her new original song “Kumapit,” about having faith in God’s supremacy in the thick of turbulent times set to be released this Friday (June 11).

The inspirational track is a poignant piano ballad seamlessly complemented by Yeng’s impassioned vocals. Its lyrics remind listeners that though God may not be physically present, His love and acceptance is always available for everyone.

“I hope this song gives you hope, courage, and strength when you listen to it. God is always there for us! We only need to hold on to Him,” the Kapamilya singer said on Instagram.

A partnership between Star Music and CBN Asia’s Reverb Worship, “Kumapit” was written and composed by Yeng, arranged by Tommy Katigbak, and produced by ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo.

It marks Yeng’s latest solo music release for 2021 after dropping “Dasal” in 2020. She also recorded a duet with Piolo Pascual for the latter’s single “Iiyak Sa Ulan” last year.

Cling to God’s love and stream Yeng’s “Kumapit,” out on various digital music streaming services this Friday (June 11). For more details, like Star Music on Facebook ( and follow it on Twitter and Instagram (@StarMusicPH).
