REMASTERED "RADIO ROMANCE" TO PREMIERE DIGITALLY ON KTX.PH

Showing on January 14, Thursday

Romance is in the air as early as January as ABS-CBN Film Restoration and Star Cinema offer today's viewers with the digitally restored version of the hit 1996 romantic flick "Radio Romance," which will premiere on KTX.ph this January 14 (Thursday) at 7:30 PM.

Written and directed by veteran filmmaker Jose Javier Reyes (from an original story by Mia Concio), the movie featured beloved '90s stars Gelli de Belen, Sharmaine Arnaiz, John Estrada, Claudine Barretto, Robin Da Roza, Paolo Abrera, Rico Yan, Jolina Magdangal, and more.

"Radio Romance" brings the story of Veronica (Gelli), who lives a double life as a librarian by day and secretly, a disc jockey by night. Coming off a bitter romantic relationship, she chooses to host the show to offer advice and play touching music for her avid listeners.

While dealing with her audience's romantic concerns, Veronica then receives a love letter from a secret admirer, expressing his admiration and hoping to meet the radio host in person. Despite solving the love problems of other people, she finds it difficult to address hers.

Will Veronica listen to her heart and give love a shot once more, or will she read her romantic dilemma differently?

Today's viewers are in for a 'Throwback Thursday' treat as they can catch its series of love stories in high definition on KTX.ph, the one-stop-shop for Kapamilya events and movie premieres, on January 14 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are now available on https://bit.ly/RadioRomancePremiere, priced at only P150.

Star Cinema's "Radio Romance" can also be streamed along with classic hits, like "Moral," "Langis at Tubig," "Inagaw Mo ang Lahat sa Akin," among others on the Sagip Pelikula Film Festival on KTX.ph happening from January 15 to 31.
