KIM HEE-AE’s ‘THREAD OF LIES’ PREMIERES ON POPTV


After rooting for her in the hit Korean drama “World of the Married,” actress Kim Hee-ae once again captivates you, this time as a mom struggling to find answers for her daughter’s suicide in the family drama “Thread of Lies” premiering this Saturday (Dec 19).

 

Hee-ae plays Hyun-Sook a widowed single mother raising her two teenage daughters while working at a grocery store. One day, her youngest daughter suddenly commits suicide without leaving any clue why.

 

“Thread of Lies” is among the Korean movies that POPTV will tagalize this month as part of its December programming.

 

Aside from this Kim Hee-ae starrer, POPTV is also set to stream the tagalized “Finding Mr Destiny” starring Gong Yoo of “Goblin,” and the original and Korean version of “Miss Granny,” which had its Philippine adaptation in 2018 starring Sarah Geronimo.

Universal Pictures has just revealed the first trailer and poster of the highly anticipated action-thriller “Jason Bourne” marking the return of Matt Damon to his most iconic role.  Paul Greengrass, the director of “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum,” once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
