Jayke Joson Feels Vindicated with Prosecutor's Ruling Regarding Cyberlibel Complaint Against Annabelle Rama

In a resolution dated July 5, 2022, the Las Pinas Prosecutor's Office made a green signal to proceed with filing two counts of cyber libel against talent manager Annabelle Rama-Gutierrez for allegedly maligning and damaging the name and reputation of former actor and producer Jayke Joson.

This is related to the Instagram posts made by Rama-Gutierrez last October 20 and 22 of 2021.

With the assistance of NBI, the cyber liber complaint was found meritorious when Joson was allegedly called a "thief" by Rama-Gtutierrez along with talent manager Arnold Vegafria, of stealing P140 million from boxing superstar and former senator Manny Pacquiao.

The resolution indicated that "after a careful analysis of the evidences filed by the parties and their respective arguments, the undersigned found a probable cause to indict herein respondent (Rama-Gutierrez) for violation of Article 353 of the revised penal code in relation to section 4 (C) 4 of republic act no. 10175."

With this development, Joson shared "Arnold Vegafria and I feel vindicated that the country's justice system is rolling fast after the city prosecutor has acted favorably on our behalf. It only proves that we're right to what we are fighting for. We will continue to fight to stop the disinformation and hold these people accountable."
