As Christmas day nears, ABS-CBN offers Filipinos an extraordinary viewing experience that will culminate with a grand musical spectacle featuring their favorite Kapamilya artists, all for the benefit of those affected by the recent typhoons.

This Sunday (December 20), “Ikaw ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special” will celebrate how Filipinos have remained faithful to God while bringing light and joy to one another, through world-class performances of Kapamilya artists beginning at 7:30 pm on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z channel 11, TFC, iWantTFC, and KTX, with backstage access on Kumu.

This year’s ABS-CBN Christmas Special will be historic as this will be the first time that there will be pre-shows lined up ahead of the main show. Viewers can tune in on Kumu, KTX, and iWantTFC for a variety of content and experiences starting at 12 noon until 7 pm on Sunday (December 20).

While enjoying these programs, they can even contribute in helping typhoon victims who lost their homes and livelihood amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They can do it through sending virtual gifts during the pre-show on Kumu, or through purchasing tickets for the Christmas Special on KTX.

All proceeds will go to the Tulong-Tulong sa Pag-Ahon public service campaign of ABS-CBN Foundation – Sagip Kapamilya, which has been delivering relief packs and serving hot meals to survivors and evacuees in areas hit by typhoons such as Rolly and Ulysses.

The pre-show on Kumu, titled “Kumukutitap ang Pasko” will start with “It’s Showtime” followed by FYE Channel, ABS-CBN News, and Jeepney TV from 12 nn to 5 pm, followed by “Pinoy Big Brother” and Star Hunt at 5 pm. Fans can then watch the live coverage of the backstage of the Christmas Special starting at 7 pm all the way to 10 pm.

For KTX’s  “KTnX ang Babait Ninyo: ABS-CBN Christmas Special Fundraising Show,” viewers can choose from three ticket prices.  Gen Ad tickets worth P199 will enable them to watch the pre-show consisting of P-pop Rise (12 nn), Music Idols & Voices (2:40 pm) and Star Magic and RISE Artists Studio’s “Tuloy na Tuloy Pa Rin Ang Pasko” (6 pm) plus the main show. The VIP tickets priced at P299 will get them both shows and a chance to be part of the virtual audience of the Christmas Special. Finally, the P499 ticket will grant them access to the pre-show, main show, and access to a virtual meet and greet with one of these P-Pop groups: MNL 48, BINI, and SHA boys.

For iWantTFC subscribers, they can look forward to “iWant ASAP” as early as 11:45 am, followed by content from ABS-CBN Films at 2 pm, “Bagong Umaga” at 3 pm, The Gold Squad at 4:15 pm, and Dreamscape Entertainment at 5:30 pm in their “All I Want for Christmas (Ikaw Ang Liwanag at Ligaya: The ABS-CBN Christmas Special Pre-Show).”
