The Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) has partnered with Marche du Film to showcase the Philippine film industry as the Spotlight Country for this year’s Cannes Producers Network happening from May 15 to 21, and with it, the chance to feature Filipino production companies to international partners.

Marche du Film, the biggest film market in the world, is held alongside the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. This film market features the Cannes Producers Network, an exclusive producers-only event which allows producers around the world to participate in meetings and events that promote international film co-productions and networking with international co-producers, sales agents, festival representatives, and film funding companies.

FDCP will be sponsoring five (5) Filipino Spotlight Production Companies to be introduced to all international partners, as well as five (5) Participating Producers who will have access to networking events. Deadline for submission of applications for interested producers and companies is on April 3, 2019.
