Lawyer/Professor Angelo de Alban hopes to become a Senator in 2019

Unfazed by the disqualification case filed against him at the Comelec, Atty Angelo de Alban faced the media last October 30 with so much enthusiasm as he shares how he plans to make a difference if he gets elected as a Senator in 2019.

“I was so surprised to receive the petition for disqualification because I know for a fact I’m qualified because I’m a lawyer and teacher at the same time,” says De Alban. Comelec is questioning his financial capability to run a nationwide campaign.
De Alban decided to ran as an independent candidate because, “Pag nasa administrasyon ka hindi ka pwede tumuligsa, hindi ka pwedeng mag criticize ng government projects. Pag nasa opposition ka naman, sasabihin nila dilawan yan”.
37-year old Angelo came from a family of lawyers and teachers. His grandfather is the former Isabela Mayor for quite some time. He graduated from University of Santo Tomas having a bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Law, and Masters of Law. He is a working student during his college days and now he is a University Professor in the same school. He co-founded St. Philomena School: Kid’s Comfort Zone Inc, a private school for children with special needs located in Bulacan.
He believes that, "“Ang gobyerno ay dapat para sa tao, not the other way around.”
