TELUS International Philippines (TIP) celebrated another successful year with a thanksgiving
party, dubbed Tribe: 2018 Town Hall, at the Globe Circuit Makati.
This year’s Town Hall was TELUS International Philippines’ largest thanksgiving event to date,
gathering over 7,000 team members and their leadership team to recognize all the hard work
and the talent poured into making 2018 the company’s biggest year yet. During the annual
event, team members welcomed new hires, took a break from their daily grind, savored their
accomplishments, and enjoyed with their colleagues.
“We put a premium value to work-life integration at TELUS International Philippines. The caring
culture that we foster and cultivate helps us become better in what we do, engaging our team
members, satisfying our clients, and in the process, growing our business,” said TELUS
International Philippines Director for Brand, Marketing, and Culture Carlos Giammattei. “The
yearly Town Hall is a way to show our deep appreciation for our team members who are at the
center of our success and achievements.”
The event was graced by OPM artists, like front act Joey Revillame Band, and main performers
December Avenue, Michael Pangilinan, Moira Dela Torre, Yeng Constantino, Rocksteddy, and
Itchyworms. The night was filled with music and entertainment; showcasing the company’s fun
and vibrant culture. Team members were encouraged to express their individuality and creativity
by coming in outfits that reflected their own sense of fashion, style, and pride. There were also
treats from different booths that served up a wide variety of food, drinks, and games.
And TELUS International Philippines has a lot to celebrate this year. They enjoy an 88%
employee engagement score, rated by Aon Hewitt last 2017, for their proactive employeecentric
programs and initiatives. The organization also has one of the lowest attrition rates in the
industry at 23%, which is 50% below industry standards. TELUS International Philippines also
had the most number of service milestone awardees this year, with over 800 team members
celebrating their 5th, 10th and 15th year with the company this 2018.
As one of the pioneering leaders in the BPO and digital solutions industry, TELUS International
Philippines has committed to growing their ranks by 6,000 more team members by 2020. They
