A PARTY TO REMEMBER - Manila White Yacht Party

Being happy and unique is something worth celebrating. Immediately after the crowning of the very first It's Showtime's Miss Q&A winner Juliana Parezcova Segovia last July 31, I headed to Manila Bay, Manila Yacht Club to party and celebrate with pride a significant milestone in gay pageantry.

I was honored to be invited for an exclusive White Manila Yacht Party organized by Y Café (though I did not come in white because I left my white polo at Resorts World as I was excitedly hurrying up for the party).

Prior to the event, I was already excited as I know that yacht parties are normally enjoyed by A-listers because it's expensive. I do not intend to skip as this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity where I could enjoy this for free as one of their invited bloggers and live a luxury life for a moment.

Upon arriving, I was welcomed by their ushers who cheerfully assisted me going to the dock where a fleet of yachts were around. I asked not to go onboard immediately because I wanted to take snaps of pictures while enjoying the view of Manila Bay with beautiful sunset as it's backdrop.

My eyes were wide open as I was amazed by the beautiful yacht picked by Y Café and the thought that I'm getting to experience this for the first time (something that I was just dreaming on before).

As I set foot on the yacht, I heard already the beautiful dance music as delivered by Manila’s hottest local DJs, DJ Butta B and DJ / Miss Intercontinental 2015 1st runner-up, Christi McGarry.

I was so enthusiastic as I greeted my fellow bloggers and media personalities who were also present of the event.

Actress, singer and host Ms. Ciara Sotto was spotted at the event. She shared that it was her first time to experience a yacht party and she doesn't normally go out on parties. She recalled that her first yacht experience was when they were taping for the TGIS movie before. It was a good chitchat that brought us back to the 90s.

Café offered us delicious selections of canapés and nibbles to accompany the refreshments that we are lucky enough Gravity Wines have sponsored.

It was a memorable night I will cherish and continue to talk about to my friends. Seeing Manila at night in the middle of the sea in a yacht is something that you should include in your bucketlist.

Don't miss the fun of enjoying a yacht party yourself and with your friends. Stay tuned for any updates from Café as they're about to organize another one soon. For questions, you may contact 0917-8975080 or email jhoanna.delrosario@ygroup.ph.
