SKY serves up a multi-cultural feast as it opens 25 international channels, including India’s Star Bharat, Taiwan’s TVBS ASIA, TVE from Spain, and Korea’s TVn via #FREESKYCHANNELS until December 8.
Learn more about India’s caste system in the offbeat comedy-drama series “Nimki Mukhiya” on Star Bharat. It tells the story of a fun-loving and opinionated woman with a penchant for Bollywood movies and how she becomes the mukhiya or leader of her village. Follow Nimki’s adventures weekdays at 10:30 PM on Star Bharat.
Fashionistas can also look forward to seeing the latest trends in clothing and beauty in Taiwan through TVBS ASIA’s “Lady First.” Host Xin-Mei Lan shares style tips and taps fashion and beauty experts to share their techniques and secrets. TVBS ASIA airs “Lady First” on weekdays at 9 PM.
Catch the Spanish version of the celebrity edition of the Masterchef franchise on TVE. “Masterchef Celebrity Spain.” The celebrity version of the wildly popular cooking competition show features known personalities in Spain like film directors, actors and actresses, Olympic athletes, models, and more. Watch “Masterchef Celebrity Spain” every Tuesday at 10:05 PM on TVE.
Watch out for the most awaited awards show in Asia, the Mnet Asian Music Awards or MAMA. The show’s theme this year is ‘Coexistence,’ and it will be held on three different days, in three different countries as a testament to how music can bring cultures together. TVn will bring it to the small screen live from Japan on November 29 and Hong Kong on December 1. Some of the performers this year are Monsta X, EXO-CBX, and TWICE in Japan, and GOT7, Super Junior, EXO, and BTS in Hong Kong.
These are just some of the international content that SKY digital subscribers can catch on their TVs until December 8. There’s no need to register for anything. Just switch on the TV and start tuning in.
