CHALK INTRODUCES THE NEW CAMPUS HOTTIES OF THIS YEAR’S BRIGHT YOUNG MANILA CAMPAIGN

Chalk concludes its Bright Young Manila campaign with the unveiling of the winners for this year's Chalk Bright Young Manila Campus Hotties, along with the reveal of the newest cover personalities of UAAP Magazine Season 80, at the CHALK x UAAP Party happening at the Brewery at the Palace in Bonifacio Global City this Saturday (Oct. 7).

From hundreds of nominations and applications, Chalk handpicked 16 individuals coming from campuses all over the Metro, all representing different backgrounds and bringing with them their unique and colorful personalities. From these contenders, Chalk will recognize two individuals who best embody the ideals and talents of today's Filipino youth as the newest Chalk Bright Young Manila Campus Hotties.

Majority of this year’s finalists come from the University of the Philippines Diliman—made up of Miguel Herrera, Elijah del Rosario, Eryka Lucas, Lhianne Santiago, Nadia Rodriguez, and Yana Alde. De La Salle University has three candidates namely Jeff Bolanos, Sam Aguilar, and Kat de Guzman.

Jeanelle Angeles of UP Manila, Renee Sangalang of DLSU-CSB, Max Berardi of MINT, Leo Laorenza of MAPUA, Matthew Usisa of San Beda College, Ralph Siaton of the University of Santo Tomas, and Brix Ramos of Ateneo de Manila solely represent their respective schools.

In the same manner, UAAP Magazine will give the fans a bigger content in this issue with its theme “go for great” as part of the celebration of the organization’s 80th year. Celebrating student athletes, this yearly collector's magazine gets you into the high-octane action on the UAAP hardcourt—highlighting score-makers, power plays, varsity hotshots, and UAAP legends. The team will share stories of the athletes at the same time with great connection to the community.

UAAP greats and rising star athletes will be present in the event to formally launch this season’s issue magazine through an interactive activity. UAAP Magazine will also recognize the rising star athletes of this season who will definitely make it big in the basketball scene.
