Chikkaness Staycation: LE MONET HOTEL

I've been to Baguio City for quite a lot of times already and I must say that my recent visit was a memorable one. Apart from the interesting I engaged in to, the four-star experience I had with Le Monet Hotel made it one of the most pleasurable staycation I had.

Le Monet Hotel is located inside Camp John Hay. My stay in the hotel means being close to the Baguio's top tourist attraction so I did not plan any activity outside the area. I'm visiting Baguio because of its temperature and true to nature landscape. Being in Le Monet means you will experience Baguio's pride at its best.

I was welcomed with the beautiful smiles of their receptionists complimented by the magnificent glass chandeliers and interesting artworks in the lobby.

It boasts of four types of room: Deluxe Twin, Junior Suite, Deluxe King, and One Bedroom Suite. I stayed in the Deluxe Room (Forest View) with a balcony that gave me a beautiful glimpse of  the green scenery of Baguio City. Hanging around the veranda was something I looked forward while I was enjoying the goodies that I got from the nearby Le Monet Bakery and just smelling the soothing scent of the pine trees.

It's equipped with the amenities that made my stay so comfortable - TV, refrigerator, safety box, DVD player, reliable WIFI access, and a promising bathroom. It's promising because it has a TV on it (I could stay for a longer time here!) and the toilet bowl is high-tech. Adding to my relaxing stay is their soft bed that it made me sleep immediately when I hopped in. It's a non-aircon room but has a ceiling fan for which I don't mind as it was cold already.

You will never get hungry when you're in the hotel. It has interesting choices that you won't think of going outside the area to buy for food. Their buffet breakfast is something to look forward to that serves an appetizing array of continental and local dishes to make you full throughout the day. They're also serving Shabu-Shabu that's good for 2-3 persons for only P699.

It's interesting to note that they have a heated indoor pool. I was not able try it but it's something I will surely splurge on my next visit. I tried their spa and I just loved the much need foot massage I've been craving for as I've been touring around Baguio two days prior my check in. It also has a mini gym where you could shed out some of the calories you took from having a grand food feast with your stay in the hotel.

Along the hotel is the Filling Station, a strip of restaurants to satisfy your food cravings. A few walks away is the Mile Hi Center where you can buy  great fashion finds and souvenirs to share to your loved ones. There's Paintball Republic nearby that you could add in your itinerary as you bond with your family and friends. You will never run out of activities in the area including the horseback riding, eco trail, and just having a picnic in the area for which Cam John Hay is popular for. No worries as the hotel can tour you around the area. Just check with the reception for booking and schedules. They also have interesting activities line up like the Coachella Party that was held last July 29. Check out their social media accounts for announcements.

I stroll around Le Monet Garden as well, a perfect haven to unwind and do some pictorials.

It was a delightful stay beyond compare at Le Monet Hotel that I'm looking forward already to have my staycation in the same hotel when I'm in town. A luxury truly experienced.
