Chikkaness Staycation: CASA ANGELINA

I stumbled upon a promising resort in a small fishing village in Zambales named Casa Angelina. When my friends decided to have a reunion near Manila but with a beach, without second thoughts I suggested to try Casa Angelina. It's located at Purok 1, Laoag CabanganZambales.

I learned that they're fairly new as they recently opened this May but the way they accommodate their guests is like that of a pro already. They have 4 cottages that you could choose from and all of which are top notch. The staff are so amiable especially the hosts Roy and Joanne who will make sure to check on you upon your arrival. They made us feel at home.

It's a perfect haven when all you want to do is reflect and have meaningful conversations with your loved ones. The vibe in the area is very serene as it's not crowded and it's decorated with colors that convey peacefulness and joy. It's like your in an extension of your house but with an ocean view or should I say having my own beach house. Their staff are very warm and always available whenever you need them to.

Inside the air-conditioned room with electric fans are three beds - queen bed, double deck bed, and a loft bed. It can accommodate as much as six people. It is clean and smells good. If you'll get the ocean view room, they have chairs available outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach. They also have a shower available just in front of the cottage. I saw one of the guests brought their dog with them and I love it.

The bathroom is spacious and has a bidet (YES!). It's complete with towels and toiletries already for free use.

You will never run out of battery as they have a lot of sockets available for you to charge. I think it's around five inside the room.

Since the resort is quite far from the city, you may opt to bring your own food. There's a kitchen and grilling area that you could use. They also provided a long table with chairs for eating purposes. But I highly recommend that you order food from them as it's freshly made and delicious. We had our dinner and breakfast with them. I won't be surprised if some day they'll open a restaurant as they really cook well.

When we went there, the water was quite undulated but the waves were not big enough for a surfing activity. It was low tide so it was a long walk from the shore before its gets deep. The sand was fine and gray. It was not sunny - so perfect to swim for someone like who's sensitive to the heat of the sun.

I highly recommend this place. All you have to do is enjoy and have a worry-free vacation when you're in Casa Angelina.
