Chikkaness Staycation at Estancia Resort Hotel Tagaytay

t's no longer peak season (June) but it's never too late to have a family vacation especially that my mom and sister are in town. We decided to drive up to Tagaytay and have a family staycation at Estancia Resort Hotel. This is not my first to spend a weekend here but this one is for keeps as this our first getaway since my sister took a short break from her OFW duties in Saudi Arabia as a nurse.

I planned out my itinerary for this trip (I have always been the one assigned to this task...para saan pa't naging travel blogger ako hahaha). We arrived at around 11am to have lunch at Charito by Bag of Beans. It has an amazing view of the Taal lake and every corner is IG-friendly. After our sumptuous lunch, we went to Starbucks (Calamba Road) which is like 5 mins away. I have always planned to treat my mom in this Starbucks because of it's good view and finally, I'm able to do it. To my surprise though, Estancia Resort Hotel is just a stone away from Starbucks!

Prior to our arrival, I had a smooth conversation with Ms Marife of our planned vacation. She told that we will be housed in one of their Santorini suites which got me very excited. And I was not disappointed at all as its facade perfectly features the amazing architecture, fancy decorations, and color of a Santorini-inspired hotel. The Mediterranean-style resort has an exciting feature blue and white color combination that promises a relaxing stay. (In order to reach the reception area, we need to ride an elevator one floor down.)

We were greeted with a warm smile like they're very excited to have us. They immediately lend their hands to assist us in carrying our luggage and confirmed our booking reservation. We rode a golf cart on our way to the villa. While climbing up, it's like we're being transported to a different world as we saw the different Santorini-inspired villas lining up. Each villa has two rooms with a roof deck (a good spot to pose for photos with the Taal Volcano as the backdrop).

The Santorini-inspired big room conveys a sense of peace because of its hues of blue and white walls and bedding. Ours has double-sized bed with air con though we barely used it because it was cold already, a TV, mini ref and a closet. This is a good place to stay to bond with your family. It's a very relaxing hotel facing a very gorgeous view of the Taal volcano.

If you have not yet indicated much in your itinerary then you may opt to just stay in the hotel and enjoying strolling in their gardens, have fun as you dip in their pool, and detoxify on their sauna and spa. The hotel also hosts events. In fact, when we were there, a seminar was being held in one of their function rooms.

It was a great overnight stay with my family that I will treasure for the longest time. I wouldn't mind checking in the hotel again for another round of Tagaytay adventure.
