When my family is out for a beach getaway, one of the viands that I love being served is "kinilaw na tanigue." For someone who has been living in the metro for a decade already, I really miss those times where I can just have a grand time with the family while enjoying a great food.
Kinilaw na Tanigue is a Filipino dish wherein Wahoo fish fillet is cut into cubes and submerged in a mixture of calamansi juice, fresh ginger, onion, chili, cucumber, and seasonings.
I checked out the said dish at The Brickyard which is located at Eugenio Lopez Drive, Quezon City. It was a right mix of fresh ingredients that I was able to consume a plate of that alone. It was just a perfect partner for my Tanduay Ice.
The ingredients were well blended with the flavor fully absorbed in the fish cubes. After consuming it, I was craving to eat more.
