MMFF 2016 Eight Official Entries Revealed

The eight films competing for this year's Metro Manila Film Festival has finally been revealed at a presscon held earlier at Club Filipino, Greenhils San Juan City.

These are the following:

"ANG BABAE SA SEPTIC TANK PART 2: FOREVER IS NOT ENOUGH" (Martinez Rivera Films and Quantum Films in association with TBA) -- Eugene Domingo, Jericho Rosales, Joel Torre, Agot Isidro, Cai Cortez, Kean Cipriano, Khalil Ramos; written by Chris Martinez, directed by Marlon Rivera

"ORO" -- horror starring Joem Bascon and child actors, directed by Alvin Yapan

“SEKLUSYON” (Reality Entertainment) -- Dominic Roque, Ronnie Alonte (of Hashtag), John Vic De Guzman (volleyball player), and JR Versales (model), with Neil Ryan Sese, Lou Veloso, Elora Españo, Phoebe Walker, and Rhed Bustamante; written by Anton Santamaria, with Dondon Monteverde as executive producer, directed by Erik Matti

“SUNDAY BEAUTY QUEEN” -- a docu drama, written and directed by Babyruth Villarama-Gutierrez

“SAVING SALLY” -- Rhian Ramos, Enzo Marcos, TJ Trinidad, directed by Avid Liongoren

"KABISERA" -- Nora Aunor, Ricky Davao, JC De Vera, Jason Abalos, Victor Neri, Perla Bautista, Ces M. Quesada, Rj Agustin, Ronwaldo Martin, Ara Marie San Agustin, Menggie Cobarrubias, Coleen Perez, and Kiko Matos; written by Real Florido; directed by Real Florido and Arturo “Boy” San Agustin

"DIE BEAUTIFUL" (The IdeaFirst Company) -- Paolo Ballesteros, Luis Alandy (Ady Alandy), Gladys Reyes Sommereux, Albie Casiño, Lou Veloso, Inah De Belen, IC Mendoza, Christian Bables, and more, written and directed by Jun Robles Lana

"VINCE and KATH and JAMES" - Julia Barretto, Ronnie Alonte, and Joshua Garcia. Directed by Theodore Boborol.
