Chikkaness Stays at HOTEL BOSS SINGAPORE

A great vacation is defined by the experiences you had along the way. These experiences determine if such travel is something that you could proudly share to your loved ones and that will be worth looking back in the future.

For the first time, I was able to travel with my mom overseas and we chose to spend it at Singapore. I made it sure that we will be staying at a place where convenience and service are exemplary. I chose Hotel Boss which is strategically located along Victoria Street in Singapore where the MRT (Lavender Station) and a bus stop are just few walks away. At Hotel Boss, I experienced quality service making me feel treated like a boss.

When our cab arrived at the lobby, the hotel's staff opened the car door for us. He went ahead lodging out our bags from the trunk of the car and helped us carry it inside the hotel. I noticed that there's a lot of cabs in the area so we getting one will not be a problem. We were welcomed with a gorgeous lobby. My first impression was the hotel was modern and promising. And the place smelled good.

We arrived at around 11am. I asked the receptionist if I can just leave my things since we will be checking after lunch, she courteously shared that we can already check in. Yes, we had an early check in and that's pretty amazing. Btw, there's a plenty of staff that you can seek assistance from in the lobby area.

We got a superior balcony room at the 18th floor. It has an awesome view from the balcony especially at night, enough to make my jaws drop.

The WiFi in the room was pretty stable. The room is furnished with an electronic safe, mini fridge, coffee and tea making facilities, drinking water, hairdryer, dental kit and toiletries. Air-conditioning was good, providing us with a perfect indoor climate. The amenities are in vogue with its modern look.

Coffee, tea, and bottled water are being replenished everyday.

I like its internet-connected 40” LED TV with cable channels as it gives me an opportunity to catch up on some local shows back home through YouTube. You can use it also to access hotel information, guest services and getting around the hotel. On its left side is a USB charging port if you happens not to bring a 3-way plug adaptor or you can contact the receptionist and they will let you borrow one.

The bed was comfortable;  comforter was soft; pillows and bed sheets were clean fit and comfort for restful and restorative sleep.  The room is also being cleaned every day.

On the 4th floor is its pool area with a surrounding garden perfect to chill out with your loved ones. I had a good dip and worry-free because it's only 4 feet deep. It was clean and not busy. The pool area boasts of its awesome sky terrace view.

Also, there's a mini gym just across pool area to shed out some calories after a good eat. In the same floor, a laundromat (Coin operated at $5/wash and $5/dry) and a kids' playground can be located.

We had a sumptuous breakfast at  the 1st floor with a great selection to choose from.

Since it's near an MRT station and a bus stop, it became accessible for us to transport to the city's exciting tourist attractions including Marina Bay and Changi International Airport. You can reach Bugis and Sim Lim Square by foot.

There's a 24/7 food court (Food Clique) right next door to the hotel. There's a lot of food choices at an affordable price. I got myself a noodle and chicken was yummy! If you were not able to change your currency to SGD then that will not be a problem as there's also a money changer nearby.

Overall, Hotel Boss lived up to my impression. I will surely consider staying here again when I'm back in Singapore.
