Alden Richards Overwhelmed and Teary-Eyed During His Album Launch

An overwhelming and teary-eyed Alden Richards faced his fans during the album launch he had earlier at Cinema 11 of SM North Edsa, Quezon City. Tickets were sold out with a lot of fans still waiting outside the cinema.

Titled "Wish I May" under GMA Records, it reached Gold Record award already even prior to its launch as recognized earlier at the Eat Bulaga episode. It has been topping the charts since its digital release and has been number 1 in the sales chart of iTunes Philippines.

His five-track album includes the songs Wish I May, How Great Is Our God, God Gave Me You, Urong Sulong and Thinking Out Loud. He sang the first three during the album launch which was received by fans with loud cheers. I was touched when he sang "How Great Is Our God" as it was done with so much gratefulness and sincerity. He may not be the best singer in the land but his one of those who sings with so much humility and passion.

He acknowledged the support of his and Maine Mendoza's fans for the success his getting right now which he humbly shares with Maine. He dedicated the song "God Gave Me You" to his love team wherein the "Takdang Panahon" will finally happen on October 24 at the Philippine Arena as announced in the October 17 episode of Eat Bulaga which I heard tickets are nearing sold out already.

After the launch, he immediately went to his father and family giving them warm hugs and crying like a kid. I saw his grandfather crying as well with the success and modesty of his grandson.

It was followed by a picture taking with the fans wherein Alden requested the tables to be removed so that he could be more close to his fans, something that made them very happy. It was such an unassuming act of this year's phenomenal actor.

I can't wait for him to stage a concert in Araneta Coliseum or MOA Arena. With the Aldenatics and AlDub Nation backing him up, this is a guaranteed success.
