English Only, Please Promises An Ultimate Romantic Movie Experience This Christmas

This Christmas, spread the yuletide cheer with love and romance as we witness the first team-up of Derek Ramsay and
Jennylyn Mercado in a romantic-comedy movie that will affirm that love knows no bounds, it happens without translation.

English Only, Please follows the story of Julian Parker (Derek Ramsay) who comes to the Philippines to have himself tutored Tere Madlansacay (Jennylyn Mercado) whom he hired online. His goal is to perfectly recite the Filipino translation of his angry letter to his half-Pinay ex-girlfriend Megan (Isabel Oli).

What started as a tutor-student relationship, turns out to be a complicated relationship for the two as they found themselves in love to each other.

The movie is the first team-up of Jennylyn Mercado and Derek Ramsay on the big screen and their first in a romantic-comedy theme.

First-timers as it seems, they seem to be a pro on this kind of movie as positive reactions overflow on the trailer that was recently released. "Perfect match!" "Ang sarap nilang panoorin! Nakaka-inlove silang dalawa!"

The lone rom-com entry in this year's MMFF is under the direction of Dan Villegas, the genius behind the much-acclaimed indie film, "Mayohan," which starred Lovi Poe and earned her first best actress award.

Quantum Films' "Ultimate Romantic-Kilig Movie" offering for the Metro Manila Film Festival also stars Tom Rodriguez, Kean Cipriano, Cai Cortez, Isabel Frial, Alex Medina, among others.
