Nora Aunor To Scare Her Fans in DEMENTIA

Multi-awarded thespian Nora Aunor will scare her fans in the horror-suspense movie, DEMENTIA. She'll be supported by Jasmine Curtis-Smith, Cinemalaya Best Supporting Actress for the movie, TRANSIT.

Aunor stars in the film as Mara, a woman suffering from dementia, "a serious loss of global cognitive ability in a previously unimpaired person, beyond what might be expected from normal aging." The internationally awarded actress will be featured in three films this year along with Padre de Pamilya and Hustisya. I won't be surprised if she'll get nominated for these three films.

The film is now starting to get publicity already considering that this will be the Superstar's rare appearance in a horror movie. First-time director Perci Intalan was impressed with Aunor's performance during the test shoot of the movie for their sizzle reel. The term sizzle reel means "a trailer or preview is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema." “Oo, iyong ine-expect na-ming Ate Guy, lagpas-lagpas pa roon iyong nakita naming,” Direk Perci has this to say.

DEMENTIA produced by Studio 5, TV5's Film Division, is slated to resume shooting in Batanes by mid-March. The film will be shown on August 2014. While we're still waiting for this film to be shown, check out the sizzle reel below that's guaranteed to creep you out.
