Chikkaness Must Watch: KALEIDOSCOPE WORLD: A Movie With A Heartbeat

Dance enthusiasts are in for a treat with the Philippines' first hip hop dance film, "Kaleidoscope World" under iAct Productions. A love story inspired by the music of Francis Magalona, the film tells about the romance between a poor boy Lando (Sef Cadayona) and rich girl Elsa (Yassi Pressman) whose relationship gets affected with their entry on the number one local hip hop crew that is competing for an international dance event.

Apart from Sef and Yassi, the film also stars Alma Concepcion, Mayton Eugenio, Alireza Libre, Arnold Reyes, Brylle Mondejar, Pia Pilapil, and William Angeles. The movie will also feature hip hop crews like The Philippine All Stars, Maneuvers, The Crew, UP Streetdance Club, among others.

I got the chance to chat with lead actors Sef Cadayona and Yassi Pressman; and they briefly described their roles and the reason why Kaleidoscope World deserves to win the Best Picture award.

Check out the trailer that will make you want to dance.

Impression wise, the film seems to be full of positivity and is done with utmost dedication and passion from its director Eliza Cornejo. This may be a little movie but I believe that it has the main ingredient of a nice dance film: a heartbeat.
